It was a revolving door of fashion last night as Selena Gomez played hostess at the Odyssey Arena for the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The “Love You Like A Love Song” singer arrived on the hot pink carpet wearing Marchesa, only to change into eight more looks during the show. Some of them were even custom designed for the singer.

Selena appeared on stage wearing a black studded leather bustier and powernet bodice by Felder Felder that’s attached to a long printed silk organza skirt. As if the peek-a-boo look wasn’t risqué enough — the dress features a slit on both sides that goes straight up to her waist!

Selena wore a diamond and onyx statement necklace and Jimmy Choo laser-cut “Kevan” feather-trim gladiator sandals.

For one of her wardrobe changes, Sel took a peek into the Moschino archives and selected this fruit printed black mini dress from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection. I like that the embellished multi-layer neckline didn’t overwhelm her as she wore her long wavy hair out over it. Thankfully that didn’t disrupt the design either! I really loved this dress on her, it’s something I would have liked to have seen her on the red carpet with.

Uh oh, I think Lady Gaga might be slacking on her ‘shock factor’ when it comes to her wardrobe.

I definitely saw this one coming.

Mother Monster accepted her award for “Best Female” from David Hasselhoff last night at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2011 in Belfast, Northern Ireland wearing a silver dress from Paco Rabanne‘s Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

The shimmering metallic dress is attached to an enormous plate design that the upper part of her body pokes out from. She paired the look with a matching hat and glittery mega-platform boots.

When I originally saw this presentation, not only did I instantly think she’d be donned in a look from this collection in the not-so-distant future, but this was one of my picks for her.

I can’t say it looks bad because… I mean, come on – it’s Gaga. To see it fit weird, for her to wear weird shoes, or to not see her face is kind of expected at this point.

This is relatively tame for her, and actually one of the better things she’s worn.

I wasn’t expecting to see Hayden Panettiere on the pink carpet tonight for the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast, Northern Ireland, but I’m happy I did. She looked really cute!

I adore her “Rococo” printed silk twill cap sleeve dress by Tibi. As a petite girl myself, I can say it really suits her frame. It’s kind of hard to find the right dress that won’t either – A) swallow you or B) make you look even shorter than you already are.

This was a perfect fit on Hayden; I love her chain earrings that were put on full display with her cute hairstyle. She had cut her hair really short, I believe it’s still in the process of growing out. She could have slicked it back really tight, but I like the little curls at the top.

She didn’t go overboard with her shoes because the print on her dress was eye-catching enough. Hayden opted for a satin pair of platform Christian Louboutin slingback sandals.

Oh Katy…

I’m all for Katy Perry’s fun personality and how she lets it show through her clothes, even though I’m sort of torn about her look at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards tonight.

Katy turned up on the hot pink carpet at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland wearing a sunglasses printed baby pink one-shouldered body-con mini dress from the Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

Katy paired the dress with a studded leather moto jacket (in the same shade of pink) along with white socks with a pair of platform saddle shoe ankle boots — from the same collection.

Jessie J hit the hot pink carpet tonight at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2011, held at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland wearing Dolce & Gabbana.

The English pop singer selected a strapless ruched silk satin yellow gown from the Fall/Winter 2010 collection with an all-over leopard print design.

I’m all for leopard (as you can probably tell by now), but at this point I think this design and color from DG has been worn to death.

It doesn’t look bad on Jessie though — the yellow definitely fits her crazy, cool style. I really wish she had left her signature sleek bob hairstyle; it totally suits her, but I think it would’ve suited her whole look tonight overall.

This uneven curled style isn’t really the best on her, especially with the heavy make-up.

Hostess of the night, Selena Gomez arrived at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards tonight in Belfast, Northern Ireland wearing a long-sleeve ivory tulle dress from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Marchesa. In fact, I think it may actually be a top as it was paired with pants for the presentation this past February.

I really appreciate how the look was toned down around the neck a bit for Selena to wear on the hot pink carpet, but why did she not wear the pants? I loved the pants with this! On top of that, I hate that her hair is so messy over it.
