Who better to give you the scoop on how you can achieve this look on your own than the man who helped Kerry?

“Kerry is a chameleon with her hairstyles, able to go from sleek and modern, to effortless and sexy. She is always up for doing something new and different! The lace and color for her dress at the AMAs needed the hair to be up with a softness in texture but more energy than a traditional up-do. Sarah Gadon captivated on-lookers at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival last month where she premiered two of her films during the two-week long chic festival.

Though Sarah seems to prefer classically glam looks to heavy embellishments and sexy, trendy cutouts, her makeup and hairstyles tell a different story. I like the way Sarah mixes youthful ‘dos with her retro dresses and the best part of it, is that these styles are very easy to replicate!

Hairstylist Marcus Francis helped Sarah get ready for her close-up at the press events for the films “Antiviral” and “Cosmopolis”, and shared his tips with The Fashion Court on how you can recreate two of her stylish on-trend looks. | continue reading..

Kirsten Dunst’s Hairstylist On How You Cannes Recreate Her Whimsical Look!

From Tip-to-Toe: Kirsten Dunst's Hairstylist On How You Cannes Recreate Her Whimsical Look!Photos: kirstenimages.com
Now that you know how to recreate Kirsten Dunst‘s romantic make-up from the “On The Road” photocall during the Cannes Film Festival, why not steal her hairstyle while you’re at it?

In fact, The Fashion Court will give you two ultra-beautiful looks to choose from!

Kirsten and her hairstylist Marcus Francis were totally inspired by the beautiful flower-embellished Dolce & Gabbana headband that she wore with her white dress, and wanted to create a look that was “flirty, undone, with a bit of whimsical” to play off the head-piece.

Marcus prepped her damp hair with Phyto Phytovolume Actif Maximizing Volume Spray before blow drying with a boar’s hair round brush. He then sectioned her tresses on the side from the front with a middle part down the back in order to keep the hairlines smooth and allow for the flyaways to appear elsewhere. | continue reading..
