MY VERDICT: I’m completely in love with the latest Erdem floral designs in the Pre-Fall 2013 collection, so I’ve been waiting to see which one would be debuted first on the red carpet this season.  I have to say that it was a bit anti-climatic when Anne donned this pretty strapless number last night for the Producers Guild Awards.  It’s kind of a weird thing because I still like the dress, and the pairing of yellow-gold custom vegan strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a navy Christian Louboutin satin evening bag were great additions to pull color from the dress.

Maybe it’s the way she’s standing, but there’s something off. I can’t put my finger on it. Is the look too young? Is it the hair, or does she just simply need something with straps?  Maybe this silhouette was best suited for her “Les Misèrables” costar.

After taping an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” earlier in the day, the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence joined her costars Bradley Cooper and Chris Tucker on the red carpet last night for a special Los Angeles screening of their new movie “Silver Linings Playbook”.

As the new face of the “Miss Dior” handbags, it was pretty unsurprising that Jen would opt for another head-to-toe look from the Spring 2013 Christian Dior collection. She did this for the New York screening earlier this month as well.

While I found this black satin tuxedo dress with a pleated skirt and metallic belt to be much better suited for Jen than the trouser look before, I was so underwhelmed by her hairstyle that it ruined everything for me. I was pretty nervous as I thought Jennifer cut her hair off at first glance, but really—we couldn’t do a sleek ponytail or something down and loose?

This pulled back bun was so aging on her, especially with suit dress. She’s only 22-years-old. | continue reading..

Taking a break from filming the second installment of “The Hunger Games” series entitled “Catching Fire”, Jennifer Lawrence was a guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” last night to promote another “Silver Linings Playbook”—in which she costars opposite Bradley Cooper. Lucky girl.

The 22-year-old actress flaunted her curves in a light grey short sleeve body-con dress from the T by Alexander Wang Spring/Summer 2013 collection. This smooth design is pretty solid with the exception of the zip detail at the hem that provides a sultry slit.  I can understand why Jennifer left hers zipped up as it might have turned the look too sexy for the appearance, but I’m also disappointed as it was the highlight of this dress for me when I originally saw it. | continue reading..

Cameron Diaz looked amazing tonight when she stepped out on the red carpet for the European premiere of her new movie “Gambit”, which was held at Empire Leicester Square in London, England. The Michael Hoffman-directed film is a remake of the 1966 heist comedy that starred Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine.

The 40-year-old actress flaunted her curves in a sexy plunging v-neck black and white satin cocktail dress by Stella McCartney, which fell just above Cam’s knees and featured hidden slant pockets. I love the fit of the dress on her, but I can’t even imagine how cold she was out in that nightime London air. Lea Michele looked beautiful last night at the 11th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball, wearing a spirited floral printed gown by Emilio Pucci with crisscrossing sheer panels.

The 25-year-old “Glee” actress arrived at the star-studded fête, with her costar and boyfriend Cory Monteith, wearing this long-sleeve, pale pink printed dress from the Fall 2012 collection. Lea turned heads with the totally open back!

I have such a love/hate relationship with Lea’s red carpet looks, but I really like how she wore this dress and complimented the muted pink and blue tones with vibrant hues. | continue reading..

After a stylish moment at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards, Leighton Meester was back on the red carpet last night for the Los Angeles premiere of “That’s My Boy” at Regency Village Theatre Westwood.
