Naya Rivera in Stella McCartney | Kids Inaugural Concert 2013

WHO: Naya Rivera
WHERE & WHEN: 2013 Kids’ Inaugural concert at the Washington Convention Center on January 19, 2013.
WEARING: Stella McCartney

MY VERDICT: Naya Rivera joined her “Glee” costar Darren Criss as they performed during the Kids’ Inaugural: Our Children, Our Future concert concert for children and military families. The event took place over the weekend before Monday’s Presidential Inauguration for Barack Obama’s second term.  Although we’re already into Pre-Fall 2013 for Stella McCartney, I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of the designer’s Fall 2012 collection—it was too good.  | continue reading..

Katy Perry in Rodarte | Presidential Inauguration 2013 for Barack Obama

WHO: Katy Perry (pictured with John Mayer)
WHERE & WHEN: Inauguration 2013 public ceremony for President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C. on January 21, 2013.
WEARING: Rodarte

MY VERDICT: I love a good statement coat, and Katy’s certainly fits the bill.  The orange and black striped pattern is bold and funky, but it’s the button and double slanted pocket details paired with that beautiful piped layer collar that really stands out the most.  I prefer the black leather belt from the runway, but Katy’s brown accent works well.  She actually wore a a pretty embroidered dress from the same collection beneath the outerwear, but unfortunately, we only saw the pointed collar.  I wish we could have seen more of it—as well as her shoes of choice.

I liked the way she finished with a black hat, oversize sunglasses, diamond earrings, and a really cool Chanel iphone case.

WHERE & WHEN: Inauguration 2013 public ceremony for President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C. on January 21, 2013.
WEARING: Emilio Pucci

MY VERDICT: Beyoncé sang her behind off as she performed the National Anthem for President Barack Obama and the First Family during the official inauguration ceremony today in Washington, D.C as President Obama celebrated his re-election for a second term.  The 31-year-old singer looked amazing in a embroidered velvet and sheer baroque long sleeve black gown by Emilio Pucci, which shimmered thanks to the stunning beaded embellishments throughout the design. | continue reading..

Presidential Inauguration 2013: What First Lady Michelle Obama Wore!

WHO: First Lady Michelle Obama
WHERE & WHEN: 2013 Kids’ Inaugural concert at the Washington Convention Center on January 19, 2013.
WEARING: Alexander McQueen

MY VERDICT: For the Kids’ Inaugural: Our Children, Our Future concert to celebrate military families, our First Lady opted for an Alexander McQueen suit ensemble. Mrs. O spoke on-stage wearing a white asymmetric tunic and black straight leg from the Resort 2011 collection, which just so happens to be an outfit she’s apparently very fond—she has been seen wearing it once before while meeting with students at the University of Oxford. | continue reading..

First Lady Michelle Obama in Michael Kors | Kennedy Center Honors 2012

Can we talk about how fabulous First Lady Michelle Obama and President Barack Obama looked last night when the two stepped out for the 35th annual Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, DC? Yes, we can.

Mrs. O looked stunning walking the red carpet at the Kennedy Center Hall of States wearing a splendid and festive Michael Kors gold lamé chiffon encrusted shoulder gown, from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection. I love her totally bold approach to different fabrics and intense color—and she’s never one to hold back on embellishments if the look calls for it. | continue reading..

What a historical evening last night was!

President Barack Obama was all smiles as he took the stage at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois with his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama and their children Sasha and Malia after being reelected to be our POTUS for another four years! Obama came out as victor against Republican candidate, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

While our prez sported a lovely bright blue satin tie—I couldn’t help but be captured by Mrs. O’s beautiful magenta silk chine pintucked dress by Michael Kors. This knee-length brocade design flattered our First Lady’s toned figure to a T, and I really like how she paired it with a beautiful pink stone ornate brooch and a chic cropped open black blazer for a polished look while keeping warm in the chilly early November air. | continue reading..

After sitting pretty for a few Spring 2013 fashion shows during Paris Fashion Week, Jennifer Lopez painted the town red when she stepped out for the night with Casper Smart to attend Anna Wintour’s cocktail dinner supporting President Barack Obama’s Democratic fundraiser, Obama Victory Fund 2012.

It may have been all about pink this morning, but Jennifer was a vixen in her scarlet sleeveless sheath dress by Hakaan ($1,675, stylebop.com), featuring a high slit in the knee-length skirt with a contoured wave design starting at the right hip. | continue reading..

Cameron Diaz came out to support President Barack Obama at his Victory 2012 fundraiser event, hosted by Tom Ford and Gwyneth Paltrow at London’s Mark’s Club on Wednesday night.

The 40-year-old “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” actress was pretty in pink wearing a short sleeve crepe jumpsuit from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by Emilia Wickstead, a favorite designer of Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Cam paired her jumper with a pair of white open toe platform pumps to show off her dark lacquered pedicure and further accessorized with a black clutch and a cool gold cuff bracelet.

She finished off with her blonde hair pinned up and a bright pink pout.

Would you wear a pink jumpsuit like Cameron?

Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford | Obama Victory Fundraiser Event 2012: London

Gwyneth Paltrow wore minimalist chic at its very best when she hit up the Mark’s Club in London on Wednesday night to co-host President Barack Obama’s 2012 Victory fundraiser dinner alongside Tom Ford.

The “Thanks For Sharing” actress wore head-to-toe Tom Ford, including a long-sleeve white dress that featured a nice little cutaway element at the knee-length hem. For some reason, I actually really liked her black velvet pumps with this. Black pumps with a white dress and it’s totally working for me. I guess stranger things have happened. | continue reading..
