MY VERDICT: So, basically, Sofia Vergara rocked the red carpet wearing a dress that only Sofia Vergara could wear.  The “Modern Family” star joined her cast on stage when they won last night wearing a sexy sleek white gold lamé gown by Donna Karan Atelier, which delicately draped around her famous curves in what the designer dubbed “classic sensual contours”. I can’t say that I’m a fan of the straps, but Sofia is a stunner.  She wore her long brunette locks out in glamorous waves and slipped on a pair of ivory Charlotte Olympia “Daphne” pumps to help complete her look.

I wouldn’t assume that wearing big diamond rings on nearly every finger on one hand would work out, but somehow Sofia is able to do that too—and, I really love her ivory manicure. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: As per usual, the “Modern Family” star provided a “wow” moment when she arrived showing off her famous curves in a ultra-dazzling black fully sequined gown by Michael Cinco.  For many this was a surprising choice as we haven’t seen too many of Cinco’s designs on the red carpet, but I hope that’s not the case anymore after this highlight.  Sofia is wearing a sweetheart gown, which actually comes from his Fall 2011 Bridal Couture collection.

I really liked this; it was such a turn from her usual go-to mermaid silhouettes.  She mentioned during a pre-show interview that she doesn’t often turn to black but that she couldn’t deny this dress.  Another departure for Sofia was the fact that she passed on full volume waves in favor of super sleek, center part strands. This look was complete with a rose-colored lip color and diamond jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz.

In less than 24hrs some of the biggest stars in television and film will walk the red carpet for the 70th Annual Golden Globes Awards in Hollywood, but what will they be wearing?  In comes The Fashion Court: Wish List, with a selection of pretty gowns that I could picture on several of the stars who will be attending. I obviously couldn’t ‘dress’ all of the nominees and presenters, or else this post would take you over an hour to read, but you’ll find eighteen of your favorites below.

Now, I know how these shows work; I imagine a good 50% of the stars will be in custom made dresses, especially some of the stars included in this list. That doesn’t mean I can’t have my fun, of course.

Hot mama Sofia Vergara channeled Ariel tonight when she stepped out for the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards in a sparkling gown in a body-hugging mermaid silhouette.

The “Modern Family” star wore a teal hand-beaded gown by Zuhair Murad, which featured a reverse-halter neckline and a sexy open back. This dress comes from Murad’s Resort 2012 collection.

Your favorite ladies from today’s hottest primetime shows hit the red carpet last night for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Performers Peer Group Cocktail Reception, which was held in Universal City, California — and they pretty much all wore black.

“Modern Family” star Julie Bowen arrived at the Sheraton Hotel wearing black floral lace dress from French couturier designer Christophe Josse, which featured flounce tiers at the waist and trim around the neckline along with beaded bordering throughout. With her hair gathered up and subtle make-up, Julie simply finished off her look with a dark purple lacquered pedicure that peeked out of her platform black suede Jimmy Choo pumps.

Julie’s costar Sofia Vergara continues to make me feel completely lazy about going to the gym as she struts around in a sassy little dress. The 40-year-old newly engaged actress flaunted her killer bod in a long-sleeve black lace dress with embroidered tasseling at the crossover hemline layer. She partnered the dress with black sheer tights, black onyx-and-diamond jewelry, classic dark suede platform pumps and a long silky mane. | continue reading..

“Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara spent her Friday night in Northridge, California at the Valley Performing Arts Center to attend the Joffrey Ballet School’s introduction of “Joffrey West”.

The newly-engaged actress showcased her curves in a black floral lace dress from the David Meister Signature Collection.

The 39-year-old actress flaunted her flawless, curvy figure in a Zac Posen strapless leopard printed, red sweetheart cocktail dress with a flounce skirt.
