I think Kristen Bell missed the LBD memo at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards on Saturday, because in addition to Emma Stone, Malin Akerman, Julianne Hough and Mila Kunis — Kate Beckinsale also went the ultra-dark route.

The 38-year-old actress strut on stage to accept the ‘Jean-Claude Gahd Dam Award’ during the ceremony wearing ‘the’ Tom Ford zipper dress from the Fall 2012 collection.

Jennifer Lawrence wore a variation of this and Charlize Theron just recently wore the exact same drape front design, with the gold zipper elements at the arms and traveling around the waist and back. | continue reading..

Emma Stone attended Spike TV’s 6th Annual Guys Choice Awards last night, but she skipped walking on the red carpet. I’m hoping she just got there late and didn’t intentionally deprive me of being able to see what shoes she wore.

The 23-year-old actress hit the stage during the ceremony to accept her award for “Hot & Funny” wearing a pretty hot dress. Emma selected the embossed black leather belted mini dress from the Fall 2012 collection by Versace.

It was a great choice for her as it appears to look even better on Emma than it did on the runway. Maybe it has something to do with her pretty blonde wavy hair and playful attitude.

Shoes can make or break a look, but since I’m unable to see Emma’s, I’ll give her two thumbs up for the dress. Update: I’m told that Emma wore a pair of black Tom Ford pumps.

She finished off her look with Neil Lane jewelry and a Ferragamo clutch.

I can’t wait to see what she wears tonight for the MTV Movie Awards! Maybe it will be something off my Wish List.

Kristen Bell looked so beautiful when she hit the carpet last night for Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards in Culver City, California.

The 31-year-old “House of Lies” actress wore a pretty lemon-lime silk layered dress from the Spring 2012 collection by Jenny Packhamn. Delicate lace elements were visible at the open neckline and at the top of the ruffled skirt.

It appears that the dress is much more yellow in person than the minty shade seen on the runway, but I have to say that I prefer the pale sunny shade on Kristen.

The dress was a fantastic fit on Kristen, and she only enhanced the appearance with lovely loose curls and a soft make-up palette. I would have liked to have seen her add a contrasting color with her Jimmy Choo “Lance” sandals, considering they also come in bright blue and orange, but Kristen stuck with the safe nude.

Luckily, they didn’t hurt the outfit for me. She looked great from head to toe!

Malin Akerman arrived at Sony Pictures Studios last night to celebrate the annual Guys Choice Awards hosted by Spike TV.

The 34-year-old actress flaunted a lot of skin in a plunging neck black crepe and satin combo mini dress from Emporio Armani.

Malin played off the fact of the dress being solid by adding the appropriate accessories, makeup and hairstyle to give it some rock ‘n roll edge. She layered on the metallic gold and diamond bracelets before slipping on a pair of Isabel Marant strappy sandals that showed off her dark lacquered manicure.

I love the outfit, though she may have gone a bit too heavy on the eye shadow.

She completed her look with a full blonde mane of springy curls.

It was nice to see Mila Kunis back on the award show carpet last night! The 28-year-old actress attended Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards wearing a black Lanvin tuxedo dress.

The off-runway design featured a notched lapel, zipped pockets and a asymmetric hemline that was longer in the back.

I actually really, really like this dress on her. This is the first time I’m seeing this style from Lanvin, so I never would have pegged her for it but I adore it all the same.

She added a bit of shimmer to the look with a metallic cuff from Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co.

Mila finished off with a pair of Roger Vivier cutout t-strap, open toe sandals, charcoal shadowed smokey eyes with thick black liner, super straight tresses and a dark manicure.

Julianne Hough hit the red carpet last night for Spike TV’s 6th Annual Guys Choice Awards wearing all black.

The 23-year-old wore a tank gown from Michael Kors with a sexy high slit and open back. A similar style was presented during Kors’ Resort 2012 collection, but I’m assuming her look is an off-runway piece for Fall.

Julianne didn’t need to go all out for the low-key award show, but she still looked really good. I love the simplicity of the cut, but I really like the fact that she wore one of my favorite pairs of Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

I’m all about the heel-less style, I just wish I could see more of it on Julianne.

Her hair looked really nice in soft waves and the makeup was complimentary.

She finished off her look with a House of Harlow 1960 minaudière and jewelry from Karine Sultan and Le Vian.
