Kristen Stewart has attempted pretty much every type of trend on the red carpet, but we were treated to a touch of “preppy punk” done right when she attended the LA screening of “Snow White and the Huntsman” in a Stella McCartney tailored skirt suit.

After pairing the edgy ensemble with a braided mohawk and a Chanel “Pirate” ruby red manicure — all Kristen had left to do in order to perfect the look was add a little art to her face!

Makeup artist Jillian Dempsey tells The Fashion Court that she was inspired by the outfit and wanted to keep her looking “youthful and undone, but with strong eyes to match her hair and outfit.”

Jillian gave the ‘Snow White’ star fresh and glowing skin by using Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. She then set out to give Kristen’s eyes a slightly punk, worn-in black eye effect.

To achieve this, Jillian applied the Givenchy Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil all over the lid while using a big nylon brush to smudge around the eyes on both the top and bottom. | continue reading..

Just this past Saturday, the 21-year-old “Snow White and the Huntsman” star got ready for her first time on the orange carpet when she stepped out for Nickelodeon’s 25th anniversary of the Kids’ Choice Awards!

Rocking a textured ponytail and a bold blue ensemble, Kristen was the epitome of effortless glam.

Makeup artist Jillian Dempsey has a long history of working with Kristen and for this particular event she was inspired by the beautiful, deep blue, lace Stella McCartney dress that she wore for the ceremony.

Jillian achieve Kristen’s dramatic eye by layering multiple shadow hues, some of them metallic, to play up the eye. She also gave her cheeks a rosy flush and accentuated her cheekbones with a light contour powder. | continue reading..
