Max Irons in Gucci | ‘The Host’ NYC Screening

WHO: Max Irons
WHERE & WHEN: “The Host” New York City screening on March 27, 2013.
WEARING: Gucci suit, Christian Louboutin shoes

MY VERDICT: Max was back on the grind for “The Host” U.S. press tour when he attended the New York City screening in a nearly head-to-toe black look.  The 27-year-old handsome English actor arrived wearing a black Gucci two-button jacket and trousers, which featured a slight shine.  Max, once again, kept his shirt light but passed on a tie in favor of a casual open collar, but unlike at the Hollywood premiere, this jacket seemed to fit him a bit better and that made for a nicer look overall.

Max finished with a pair of Christian Louboutin dress shoes.

“The Host” hits theaters nationwide this Friday, March 29th!

Diane Kruger in Chanel | ‘The Host’ NYC Screening

WHO: Diane Kruger
WHERE & WHEN: “The Host” New York City screening on March 27, 2013.
WEARING: Chanel dress and clutch, Christian Louboutin shoes & Stephen Webster jewelry.

MY VERDICT: It was another all black look for Diane Kruger when she attended the NYC special screening of her new movie “The Host”. The film is based off the novel by Stephenie Meyer, who gained fame from her first book series, the famous “Twilight” saga. Diane joined her costars Saoirse Ronan, Jake Abel, and Max Irons, wearing a cool short sleeve dress by Chanel.

The 36-year-old actress rocked the short LBD over a matching mini skirt, both from the new Fall 2013 collection, that features delicate all-over pearl embroideries.  I like the way Diane toughened up the ladylike style with over-the-knee suede Christian Louboutin “Big Lips” boots with silver pin heels.  | continue reading..

WHO: Saoirse Ronan
WHERE & WHEN: “The Host” New York City screening on March 27, 2013.
WEARING: Proenza Schouler dress, Dolce & Gabbana coat, Christian Louboutin shoes, Proenza Schouler bag & Dana Rebecca Designs jewelry.

MY VERDICT: The week isn’t over but I can officially say that Saoirse is headed towards the top of my list for my favorite look.  The 18-year-old actress joined her costars at the special New York screening of “The Host” wearing a kick-ass dress by Proenza Schouler.  Saoirse arrived in a short sleeve folded dress sporting an exciting abstract blue pattern from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. This electric non-presented design features thick black leather trim falling asymmetrically down the center and a twisted matching belt to define her slim waist.

I’m totally obsessed with the cool, rough style of the dress that still holds such a feminine excellence.  | continue reading..

Emmy Rossum in Christian Dior | “Beautiful Creatures” NYC Screening

WHO: Emmy Rossum
WHERE & WHEN: “Beautiful Creatures” New York screening on February 11, 2013.
WEARING: Christian Dior dress, Charlotte Olympia shoes, Ralph Lauren clutch & House of Lavande jewelry.

MY VERDICT: Emmy gave us a gorgeous overload of blue-violet when she rocked the red carpet screening of “Beautiful Creatures” in a sleeveless draped Dior cocktail crepe dress with a crisscross open back.  I’m having a major color crush, and I love the way she accentuated it with a matching shadow in a winged effect.  The event was partly sponsored by Dior Beauty, so I’m going to assume it’s a pretty shade from the line.  Emmy’s multicolored drop vintage House of Lavande earrings also featured stones that incorporated the regal color.  With a swept back mane to avoid damage from the rain–we’re clearly having awesome weather over here on the East Coast this week, Emmy completed her look with a black clutch and sexy strappy “Isadora” platform sandals by Charlotte Olympia.  I can’t wait for this movie to come out! | continue reading..

Nicholas Hoult in Burberry | “Warm Bodies” NYC Screening

Nicholas Hoult in Burberry | 'Warm Bodies' NYC ScreeningPhotos: Zimbio
WHO: Nicholas Hoult
WHERE & WHEN: “Warm Bodies” New York City screening on January 25, 2013.
WEARING: Burberry Prorsum

MY VERDICT: Before strutting out on the Hollywood red carpet for the premiere of “Warm Bodies” in Balenciaga, Nicholas previously joined his costar Teresa Palmer for a special New York screening wearing a very dapper three piece suit from Burberry.  The English actor selected a checked grey wool blazer, waist coat and trousers from the label along with a white dress shirt that he partnered with a bold olive and charcoal diagonal striped tie.  It’s clear that the tie is the focal point of this look, which makes me thrilled to see it contained a little color.

Some men can work a suit better than others, and Nicholas is certainly toward the top of the list of those who can.

Black leather dress shoes and a little bit of facial scruff helped complete the look.

WHO: Analeigh Tipton
WHERE & WHEN: “Warm Bodies” New York City screening on January 25, 2013.
WEARING: Alberta Ferretti dress, Rupert Sanderson shoes

MY VERDICT: Analeigh celebrated the special New York screening of her new zombie comedy last night looking beautiful and sophisticated in a  long sleeve chiffon and lace grey dress by Alberta Ferretti with a gorgeous beaded black collar that complimented the ribbon belt at her waist.  This dress is from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection, and with everyone jumping at the chance for 2013 advance looks, I was happy to see Analeigh give a little spotlight to what’s now considered a lovely design from an “older” collection.  She focused on the dress by accessorized nicely with a black clutch and patent “Elba” pumps by Rupert Sanderson.  A wispy up-do and light makeup were pretty finishing touches. | continue reading..

WHO: Teresa Palmer
WHERE & WHEN: “Warm Bodies” New York City screening on January 25, 2013.
WEARING: Vera Wang top and skirt, Christian Louboutin shoes & Kwiat jewelry.

MY VERDICT: I just love seeing more and more of Teresa on the red carpet as she’s one of my favorite rising stars right now.  The Australian beauty looked youthful and fabulous at the New York screening of her new movie “Warm Bodies” (go see it!) wearing an embroidered crop top and white folded skirt by Vera Wang.  I’m really into white-on-white looks with a little bit of metallic detail tossed in lately, so I’m all about the pairing of her “Dudoura” Christian Louboutin sandals. These heels were a cool balance with the feminine edge of her top and bottom, and I dig the hint of silver around the toes with the perspex ankle cuff.

Maggie Grace in Emporio Armani | “Killing Them Softly” NYC Screening

Maggie Grace shimmered in gold for the New York Screening of “Killing Them Softly” on Monday night.

The 29-year-old actress is fresh off the press tour for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ and onto promoting her role in the revival of the Broadway play “Picnic”, where she stars opposite Sebastian Stan. Maggie arrived at the theater wearing a pretty gold pleated short dress from the Emporio Armani Spring 2013 collection, which featured a striped muted metallic-tone skirt beneath the peplum layer.

I love the dress, and I like that Maggie didn’t opt for subtle accessories. Her black glittering clutch, Kimberly McDonald geode and diamond earrings and super strappy black and gold sandals provided the perfect finishing touches. Maggie topped off her look with a coral pout and a full mane of golden layers.

Bella Heathcote looked lovely when she attended Monday’s New York screening of her movie “Killing Them Softly”.

The Australian actress selected a beautiful dark burgundy silk cocktail dress from the Fall 2011 collection by Roksanda Ilincic; the sleeveless design features a split v-neckline of falling ruffles that are trimmed in black chiffon. Pleated gathered details fill in the bodice and right side of the dress. | continue reading..

Maggie Grace in Martin Grant | “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ NYC Screening

Maggie Grace added the “Midas touch” to her winner of a look earlier this month for the New York City screening of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, the final screening for the film in the US. After donning bold green for the Hollywood premiere, the on-screen vampire opted for a combo of basic black, winter white and shimmering dark gold.

The 29-year-old actress arrived wearing a Martin Grant sleeveless deep v-neck column gown, from the Spring/Summer 2013 runway collection. The neckline opening was much deeper on the model, so it appears that Maggie modified her dress a bit for a bit of modesty and a better fit. I think it was a heavenly choice for her–I love this dress!

She complimented the metallic belt with dark pewter Alexandre Birman pumps and studded detail surrounding her black oversize clutch. This beautiful ensemble was then completed with soft make-up and diamond bordered geode Kimberly McDonald earrings that stood out thanks to Maggie’s neatly swept up ponytail.

“Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ is in theaters now!

Did you like this look more than Maggie’s LA premiere dress?
