MY VERDICT:  I guess Naomi needed a dress break last night, and I can’t stay that I blame her.  The “Impossible” star kept her cool at the THR party in a shimmering winter white ensemble, which included an A.L.C. Spring 2013 blouse and “Harris” blazer that she partnered with silver skinny trousers from Theyskens’ Theory.  I like the structure of the layering, but her bold black Gucci “Bamboo” handbag is really distracting.  Everything is so light–and then, boom…big black bag.  She finished her look with nude “Back 2″ slingbacks from Christian Louboutin, Jamie Wolf diamond edged “Bisou” earrings and a Melinda Maria “Celia” gold necklace.  I’m loving Naomi’s shiny curls and rosy lip color.

As far as I’m concerned—she could have picked a more interesting shoe, but oh well.

MY VERDICT: As much as I adore Jennifer, I can’t say that I’ve been really into her style these last few weeks.  One minute she’s giving us “youthful cool”, then “Granny’s disco retreat”, followed by “good, but not great”, and the fun striped jumpsuit with the wayward flap you wanted to flip off.  In a nutshell, for as many looks that I’ve liked there have been just as many that I haven’t been into.  Jen attended two events yesterday and although things started off shaky with that white dress, I thought this pale embroidered Valentino dress was very pretty and sweet.  She paired the frock with nude Brian Atwood “Wagner” pumps with metallic detail, voluminous waves and a berry pout. MY VERDICT: I’m kind of over this dress.  Don’t get me wrong, I like it—but after seeing many, many variations of this Givenchy peplum design over the last year, I can take a break. You feel me?  Perhaps Ashley Greene‘s red carpet moment was the most popular as it was this exact Resort 2012 style.  That being said, Jessica looked great as per usual.  I’m just torn on whether I liked the fact that she left the peplum detail unfastened and tried to be a bit edgy and different, or if I’m bothered that she disrupted the intended silhouette.  I may never come to a decision, so in the meantime I’ll just tell you that she finished the look with Christian Louboutin nude “Pigalle” classic stiletto pumps. | continue reading..

In a sea of pretty printed dresses, bright colors, funky shoes and animal print it was hard to pick a favorite, but now that The Fashion Court has this cool, quick run-down—it should make things a tad bit easier!

Ashley Madekwe: The “Revenge” actress brightened up her dark accessories for the early event by slipping on this drop-waist BCBGMAXAZRIA “Astra” ruffled hem mini dress in Gardenia. When you have great gams—you should totally show them off!
