Emily Hampshire in Stella McCartney | “Cosmopolis” NY Premiere

Emily Hampshire joined her costars Robert Pattinson and Sarah Gadon at the New York premiere of their movie “Cosmopolis” last night wearing head-to-toe black… almost.

I wanted to put my initial focus on Emily’s dress, but the 32-year-old Canadian actress kept diverting my attention to her totally confusing hair. If there were ever a time to say that the ombré hair color trend was a terrible idea — this would be it. I’m hoping the dip-dye coloring is for a role, but even if it is, why not wear it up to conceal it a bit?

Hair issues aside, Emily looked effortless in a classic three-quarter sleeve black cocktail dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by Stella McCartney. | continue reading..

Sarah Gadon arrived at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City this evening to celebrate the premiere of her new movie “Cosmopolis” while wearing a gorgeous teal dress.

Joined by costar Robert Pattinson and director David Cronenberg, the 25-year-old Canadian actress selected this romantic sleeveless lace petroleum cocktail dress by Dolce & Gabbana that fit her body like a glove. | continue reading..

It’s not as if we’ve never gone a few weeks without seeing Robert Pattinson on the red carpet, because we have, but it’s totally felt like forever since he last stepped out. It’s actually been less than a month.Regardless, the wait was over tonight when the dashing English actor hit the streets of New York to attend the premiere of his film “Cosmopolis”.

Rob quickly arrived and made his way into the Museum of Modern Art, where the screening was being held, but despite his lightning speed of an entrance — he made an impact dressed in a cool blue “Monaco” suit by Gucci.

This suit comes from the Cruise 2013 menswear collection. Oh, how I love him in some color. | continue reading..

A glowing Jessica Simpson showed off her growing belly when she attended the  25th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards last month, with her fiance Eric Johnson, at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City where she was honored for her Jessica Simpson Collection.

Jessica showed off her curvy pregnancy figure in a gorgeous dark cherry Donna Karan “Infinity” dress that she hiked up a bit and instantly turned it into a mini. I know that Jess loves to show off her legs, but I think leaving the length at the knees would have made this look even better on her.

I like the volume at the front of her hair, although the rest of her hairstyle is so overwhelming. Ponytail. Stat. | continue reading..

Andrea Riseborough in Oscar de la Renta | “W.E.” NYC Screening

On Sunday night, Andrea Riseborough arrived at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City to attend the Cinema Society screening of her film “W.E.” hosted by Pigaet.

The English actress is still sporting a lighter hair color, but the shade seems to be deeper than when I saw her at the Hollywood Film Awards earlier this season.

Andrea’s hair really popped against her monochrome dress. For the evening, she selected a black fil coupe’ organza dress with white contrast bodice from the Resort 2012 collection by designer Oscar de la Renta. | continue reading..

Miranda Kerr in Peter Pilotto | MoMA 4th Annual Film Benefit – “A Tribute to Pedro Almodovar”

It’s been a few days since the Museum of Modern Art’s 4th Annual Film benefit “A Tribute to Pedro Almodovar” in New York, but I can’t get over how fabulous Miranda Kerr looked that night!

On Tuesday night, the Australian model arrived at the Museum of Modern Art wearing an incredible blue, white, grey, and black printed top and skirt from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Peter Pilotto.

I’m in love with the cut-up peplum detail at the skirt, and the partially un-zipped look of the scuba-style top.

Miranda was all about drawing attention to her Pilotto look that night; she wore her long dark hair sleek and pulled into a tight bun at the crown of her head. She accessorized with a mirrored tube clutch and amazing lace-up platform ankle boots by Nicholas Kirkwood.

It’s a CHANEL Affair at the MOMA 4th Annual Film Benefit: “A Tribute To Pedro Almodovar”

It was star-studded night on Tuesday at the Museum of Modern Art’s 4th Annual Film Benefit honoring Spanish film director, Pedro Almodovar held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Emma Stone, and Drew Barrymore were among the lovely ladies decked out in CHANEL as they arrived and were photographed against a striking “American Beauty”-reminiscent rose cluster backdrop.

I’m not sure which was more eye-catching — the dresses or the roses!

Sarah Jessica Parker wore a grey chiffon embroidered gown and long navy sleeveless jacket from the Resort 2012 collection. I like both pieces, but not together. I’m really not sure what made SJP cover up the lovely dress with this heavy vest. It not only drew attention to the imperfections of the waistline of the dress, but I don’t see the purpose. It’s not like it was so chilly outside therefore she needed a jacket. It doesn’t have sleeves!

I was happy to see that her hair was a lot less…voluminous. It no longer looks as if her hair is overwhelming her as it did on her recent international press tour for “I Don’t Know How She Does It”. Her make-up was less than favorable because her eyes looked closed in many pictures due to the heavy liner and shadow. She accessorized with black pumps. | continue reading..
