Before hitting the red carpet for the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival and premiere of “Moonrise Kingdom”, Tilda Swinton attended a morning photocall for the movie at Palais des Festivals.

Tilda kept her look conservative opting for a mauve silk tie neck blouse and powder blue pencil skirt from Haider Ackermann.

Tilda Swinton arrived for the premiere of her movie “Moonrise Kingdom” tonight as it was held during the opening ceremony of the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival on the beautiful French Riviera.

The 51-year-old stepped out on the red carpet at Palais des Festivals in a shimmering blush folded gown by Haider Ackermann. A shorter bronze version was seen on the runway for the Fall 2012 collection.

Her go-to designer? Sure. Her go-to style? No, but I’ll take it!

I’m sure we’ll get our fill of Tilda’s swanky suits over the course of her time at the festival, but this dress was such a refreshing change to her normal red carpet style routine. | continue reading..

I wanted to love this white tuxedo jumpsuit on Tilda Swinton, when she attended the TIME 100 Gala this past Wednesday night in New York, but I just couldn’t.

The “We Need To Talk About Kevin” actress came out to celebrate TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People In The World wearing this menswear-inspired design by Celine.

I love the concept, neckline and the color, but the sleeves are way too short while the pants are too wide. It looks like she has a wind machine in there. If the trousers were trimmer and the sleeves longer, it would have been so on.

Tilda Swinton was one of my favorite ladies on the red carpet for the Orange British Academy Film Awards in her Celine gown.

They say “you can’t go wrong with a little black dress”, but you can. You can also go really wrong with a long black dress. See who got it right and who got it wrong on the red carpet this past Sunday for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

I like to think that Tina Fey read my post about her for the Golden Globes two weeks ago because she ixnayed another fluffy gown in favor of sleek and sexy Versace! I love the smooth black gown she wore with the draping metallic ombré bodice. With black peep toe sandals and a chic bouffant hairstyle with diamond and onyx drop earrings — she looked amazing.
