On December 12th, before she attended the NYC premiere of her new film “We Bought A Zoo”, Scarlett Johansson stopped by the Ed Sullivan Theater for an interview on the “Late Show with David Letterman”.

For her late night appearance, Scarlett wore one of my favorite looks from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Proenza Schouler ; a giraffe printed bustier corset and a turquoise knee-length wrap skirt.

Scarlett could have really rocked this look, but I’m bummed about the fact that the top was tucked into the skirt rather than how it was seen on the catwalk. Not only did this truncate Scarlett’s waist, but all of the tightness in her mid-section is causing some unsightly bulges. | continue reading..

Scarlett Johansson arrived with co-star Matt Damon last night at the Ziegfeld Theatre for the New York premiere of their family film “We Bought A Zoo”.

Feeling a bit of a romantic 1940′s retro vibe, Scarlett wore a textured black two piece look from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Dolce&Gabbana. As the face of of the brand, her straight-from-the-runway ensemble consisted of a crop bustier top with asymmetric thick straps and a belted calf-length a-line skirt.

I didn’t think this design would translate to the red carpet at all, so I set myself up to only see it in editorial. Boy, was I wrong!  I loved this on Scarlett! It was chic, modern, and really unexpected — and I’m really glad she opted for a slimming thinner belt.

She finished off the look with diamond stud earrings, a gold bangle, and black “Greta” sandals by Jimmy Choo. Thank goodness she didn’t ruin the look with the wrong shoes! | continue reading..

Last night was the New York premiere of the holiday family film “We Bought A Zoo”; a movie about a father who relocates his family to a new house on the property of a run down zoo.

14-year-old Elle Fanning stars in the film and shined on the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theatre in a white dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Louis Vuitton. I may not have been the biggest fan of many celebrities donned in looks from this collection, but Elle practically swayed me.

Not only was this stencil tulle tea-length dress the perfect little style and silhouette for her, the triple strap point-toe white and silver sandals looked fabulous! I’m so glad she did a full collection look. | continue reading..
