Scarlett Johansson arrived with co-star Matt Damon last night at the Ziegfeld Theatre for the New York premiere of their family film “We Bought A Zoo”.
Feeling a bit of a romantic 1940′s retro vibe, Scarlett wore a textured black two piece look from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Dolce&Gabbana. As the face of of the brand, her straight-from-the-runway ensemble consisted of a crop bustier top with asymmetric thick straps and a belted calf-length a-line skirt.
I didn’t think this design would translate to the red carpet at all, so I set myself up to only see it in editorial. Boy, was I wrong! I loved this on Scarlett! It was chic, modern, and really unexpected — and I’m really glad she opted for a slimming thinner belt.
She finished off the look with diamond stud earrings, a gold bangle, and black “Greta” sandals by Jimmy Choo. Thank goodness she didn’t ruin the look with the wrong shoes! | continue reading..
