MY VERDICT: While Rihanna opted for racy and Kristen Stewart played with punk, Rose looked lovely and ladylike in a long black silk dress with colorful prints when she attended the Chanel Fall 2013 fashion show during Paris Haute-Couture Fashion Week.
The 33-year-old Australian selected the pretty design, which featured a deep v-neck and bow appliques at the shoulders, from the Spring/Summer Act 1 2013 collection. It was an effortless fit, but while I liked that she wore her golden-highlighted tresses up in a heightened ‘do–it looked a little frizzy.
Keeping the look elegant, but also appropriate for the daytime event, Rose finished with light makeup–aside from a bold red matte lip, and accessorized with black pumps and a matching quilted clutch. Rose put the finishing touches on with Chanel Fine Jewelry; the “Couture” bracelet and “Camélia” ring in in 18-karat white gold, black and white diamonds, and a “Camélia Brodé” bracelet in 18-karat white gold and diamonds.
