Review: Beautifully Disney Fantasy In Flight Collection

Review: Beautifully Disney Fantasy In Flight Collection

Product Review

In my opinion, you're never too old to be a Disney fan--and that's why it's still at the top of the list of things I love the most. In fact, my entire family could definitely be labeled "Disney Fanatics"! I was thrilled when Disney collaborated for the second time with OPI last spring for their Couture de Minnie Collection, but my excitement definitely flew off the richter when the House of Mouse launched their very own Beautifully Disney beauty line shortly after with a focus on the 'wicked' fairytale villains. For their second installment of the cosmetic line, Disney introduces "Fantasy in Flight"--which is centered around Peter Pan's famous side kick Tinker Bell and the Blue Fairy from "Pinocchio". In the collection you'll find a 6 shade eyeshadow palette, a set of four mini nail polishes, two lip glosses, and a brush set. It should go without saying that I bounced around like Tigger when I got a special delivery of the collection to review for all of you, along with some signature pieces from the Beautifully Disney line (mascara and two blushes).

Review: OPI - Gwen Stefani Collection

Review: OPI x Gwen Stefani Collection

Product Review

Before I kick off my latest swatch review, I have to say that out of all of the new OPI collections recently released, the collaboration with Gwen Stefani is probably the one I've been looking forward to the most. I was big fan of No Doubt growing up, and have always had a love and appreciation for Gwen's music and eclectic style. She's just... so cool. The mission of this particular collab was to "create a collection as dramatic, diverse and glamorous as its namesake," according to Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder and Executive Vice President. "With crème and glitter hues, new satin matte texture, a mirrored chrome and SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, Gwen Stefani by OPI presents the latest in pigments and finishes, while combining elements of haute couture and street fashion." OPI was kind enough to send the collection my way to share a look with all of you, and I couldn't be more excited to do so!

Sandra Bullock in Gucci | 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'

Sandra Bullock in Gucci | “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”

WHO: Sandra Bullock WHERE & WHEN: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on February 5, 2014. WEARING: Gucci dress, Rupert Sanderson for Antonio Berardi shoes MY VERDICT: Sandra was all smiles when she appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" for one of Leno's final shows as the host of the legendary late night talk show. The "Gravity" star wore a fierce Gucci navy halter dress from the Pre-Fall 2014 collection with black leather detail at the neckline. This was my favorite look from the line, and I'm glad to see it was worn so well.

Elizabeth Banks in Roland Mouret | “The Today Show”

WHO: Elizabeth Banks WHERE & WHEN: "The Today Show" on February 5, 2014. WEARING: Roland Mouret dress, Christian Louboutin shoes MY VERDICT: After donning a funky little jumpsuit for the Los Angeles premiere of "The LEGO Movie" over the weekend, Elizabeth took promo for the new animated movie to the East Coast and appeared on "The Today Show" in New York this morning. A sassy little red cocktail dress clearly isn't only reserved for the evening, as Elizabeth stunned in a Roland Mouret "Carrara" pencil dress with an asymmetric neckline.
