The first day of spring is literally a week away, so I’m quite excited that I was able to check out three polishes from the China Glaze Spring 2014 “Sea Goddess” Collection. They were kind enough to share them with me so that I can share with all of you today!
I’ll be honest, while the rich pastel hued colors originally grabbed my attention, the fact that they were textured polishes made me a bit apprehensive as it’s been a definite ‘hit’ or ‘miss’ with other China Glaze textured polishes. However, these were much finer–kind of a mix between Zoya’s Pixie Dust and OPI Liquid Sand polishes, if you’re familiar with those. All three of them were very easy to apply and I pretty much got full coverage in just two coats.
VERDICT: Overall, I was pretty happy with China Glaze on these textures–especially compared to their others, and the colors seem so fun for both Spring and Summer. I’ll probably go out and pick up the rest of the collection for myself.
