Ava DuVernay in Stella McCartney | Cannes Film Festival 2018: 'The Man Who Killed Don Quixote' Closing Ceremony Premiere

WHO: Ava DuVernay
WHERE & WHEN: “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” Cannes Ceremony Premiere on May 19, 2018.
WEARING: Stella McCartney dress, Chopard jewelry

MY VERDICT: I have to say, at this point, I was not expecting Ava to wear anything from my wish list and, while she still hasn’t, the film director slipped into in a layered Stella McCartney — and I hoped for the same concept for her. Ava displayed understated glamour when she stepped out with her fellow jury members for the Cannes Closing Ceremony wearing a raspberry custom long sleeve gown with a cascading overlay that was simply gorgeous as it breezed in the wind. For this red carpet, Ava wore her locs up in a elegant twist before completing her final festival ensemble with an assortment of Chopard diamond jewelry, dark lacquered nails, smoky eyes, and a deep wine shaded pout.
