MY VERDICT: To promote her new ABC comedy series “Single Parents”, Leighton hit the red carpet for the annual upfront presentation for the ABC, Freeform and Disney networks in NYC. The 32-year-old actress, and new platinum blonde, embraced the spring season in a pale slip dress with scattered floral embroidery from the Spring/Summer 2018 collection by Marni. I thought the dress was cute on her, but I didn’t like the shoe pairing at all. Leighton opted for a nude ankle strap sandal, but I think a shoe in a punchy hue like pink or red would have been a better fit. A berry tinted pout and white top handle bag completed the look.
