MY VERDICT: Cynthia showed off her toned arms in a strapless Michael Kors cocktail dress when she stepped out for the annual HFPA Grants Banquet dinner. The “Bad Times at the El Royale” actress selected a Fall/Winter 2018 maritime and black silk-and-wool duchesse, which featured a floral embroidered motif.
I love the shimmering dark pattern against the deep blue of the dress, but my favorite aspect is obviously the layered effect of the bodice and the elegant draped attachment at the hip for added drama.
Part of my misses the belt from the runway presentation, but I also feel like Cynthia didn’t need it.
She polished off the look with embellished heeled black pumps, Eva Fehren jewelry, a jeweled headband and electric blue lined eyes–which all perfectly matched her dress.
