MY VERDICT: Nominated for her lead role in The Assistant, Julia selected a Prada icy blue chiffon dress, enriched with marabou feathers, dazzling fringes of jais stone and shimmering Swarovski crystals embroidery. Though I would have loved to see this on an actual red carpet, I feel like the essence of this dress — and how it looks on Julia, was beautifully captured in this photograph.
Julia and her stylist, Elizabeth Saltzman, didn’t slack off on any aspect–this look was styled to the max without being overdone; she partnered the dress with opaque pale blue tights, matching satin Prada ankle strap pumps and statement earrings. I’m excited to see tights being used more and more lately!
Retro elegant big curls, smoky eyes and a rusty red lip color provided the finishing touches.
