MY VERDICT: Viola stays delivering, even remotely, when it comes to her red carpet style. The Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom nominated actress looked amazing in a sharp LOEWE skirted suit — a look that was customized for her based off the Fall/Winter 2021 collection (pictured below). The jacquard paneled jacket and matching asymmetric skirt featured vibrant shapes in primary colors against a dark backdrop.
Viola kept the look polished with focus on the bold pattern by finishing off with black ankle strap pumps, gold jewelry, and a smooth bob hairstyle.
I think the only thing I would change about this … to opt for strapless heels, even though I don’t dislike her choice of footwear for this look. Viola and her stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, clearly know what works for her. I can’t wait to see what she wears to the Oscars!
