WHO: The cast of "Glee" WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013. KEVIN McHALE: I had to kick this whole thing off with Kevin because I just don't think I could have contained my love for his hunter green jacket much longer! The 24-year-old actor worked the heck out of that red carpet in his monochrome black shirt, tie and trousers while sporting a custom Oscar Olima dark green satin jacket over his shoulders with contrast details. This was totally unique and eye catching---I loved it. Kevin finished his look with shiny black dress shoes from Prada. CORY MONTEITH: This is probably one of the best suit looks I've ever seen on Cory. I loved his Calvin Klein Collection grey tuxedo with black contrast arched lapels and stripes down the sides of his pants. It was well tailored and suited him very nicely. Cory finished with black Christian Louboutin dress shoes, Ox and Bull Trading Co. cufflinks and tie bar, and a Versace watch.
Busy Philipps proudly displayed her growing belly in a custom made Gabriela Cadena navy blue long sleeve silk dress. The "Cougar Town" actress, who recently announced her second pregnancy added some boldness to her look with a colorful one-of-a-kind Irene Neuwirth statement necklace and a matching embellished clutch by Judith Leiber. A scarlet red lip, gathered mane and Brian Atwood "Stearling" shoes were the finishing touches. Alexis Bledel like Jessica Pare, the 31-year-old actress also opted to wear a brilliant shade of emerald green at the SAGs this year. I love the color and pleated detailing of her structured Rena Lange dress, and the way her beautiful vintage House of Lavende colorful crystal necklace sat amongst the deep v-neckline. A glittering champagne Amanda Pearl clutch and soft waves completed her look.
Carly Rae Jepsen made her American Music Awards red carpet debut last night, and dazzled her way into the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live wearing an embellished light pink dress. The singer behind this year's biggest pop hit "Call Me Maybe", who took home the award for 'Best New Artist of the Year' arrived wearing a sleek baby pink backless plunging v-neck halter gown by Gomez-Gracia, which flared at the feet while being completely embellished with thousands of hand-sewn iridescent micro-sequins in various metallic shades.
What's up with black see-through lace tops being so popular this week? Kristen Stewart may have worn a sexy illusion jumpsuit on Wednesday, but while Ashley Greene was sporting it in New York City on Tuesday---Dakota Johnson was doing the same at the annual GQ Men of the Year bash in Hollywood! The "Ben and Kate" star hit the black carpet at the Chateau Marmont in a dainty lace long-sleeve "Ada" top from JOE'S Jeans ($145, joesjeans.com), which features delicate floral lace with chevron patterns throughout the arms and bodice. Dakota could have made it a little modest with a black tank top---but, she found it a bit more fun to play it up with simply a black bra. I would have preferred a bandeau.
Maria Menounos brightened up the blue carpet when she stepped out on the oceanic rug for the 2012 Do Something Awards, which were held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. The 34-year-old flaunted her toned figure in a strapless bubblegum pink body-con dress from Gomez-Gracia. This sexy stretch-jersey pencil cut bustier ress features a daring plunging open back that Maria seemed excited to show off.
Taraji P. Henson added a vivid pop of color to her chalky white ensemble when she stepped out on the red carpet last night for the CW, CBS and Showtime 2012 Summer TCA party in Beverly Hills, California. The "Person of Interest" actress wore a slim-fitting tailored v-neck shift dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Gomez-Gracia. What seemed like a simple cut took on a whole new look when Taraji turned around.
As expected Victoria Justice got playful on the pink carpet when she attended the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Hollywood tonight. The "Victorious" star stayed comfortable in the summer heat in a wild multicolored leopard printed, silk-chiffon "Hankerchief" halterneck dress paired with the matching "Easy Access" hi-low maxi skirt from Gomez-Gracia. Both pieces were brought together with thanks to a Swarovski crystal-studded black leather belt.
Carrie Underwood walked the red carpet tonight for the biggest night in music -- the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards! The ceremony may have been all about the music, but that doesn't mean fashion took a back seat. The talented Country singer arrived at the Staples Center in a sparkling "Starlet" long-sleeve confetti gown by Gomez-Gracia made of stretch tulle and embellished with white sequins in a leopard print.
The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention lifeline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth, held their annual Trevor Live! event on Saturday night. The red carpet at The Hollywood Palladium was abuzz with celebrities and corporate leaders arriving to show their support for the cause. "Modern Family" actress Julie Bowen decided to go 'all-black everything' for the evening in a nappa leather "Diabla" cap sleeve sheath dress from the UK label Gomez-Gracia. Julie wore a pair of black peep toe pumps, but I think cool strappy platform sandals would have played off the edgy vibe of the dress much more. She's also carrying a satin Christian Louboutin clutch. I love her low ponytail with the light volume at the crown of her hair along with her gold hoop earrings featuring a diamond shaped black charm. Miley Cyrus skipped out on the red carpet, but there's no way one of The Trevor Project's biggest supporters would miss the event all together. The 19-year-old singer hit the stage to perform her song "The Climb" while donned in a gorgeous beaded bronze metallic long-sleeve "Dayal" cocktail dress by designer Farah Angsana. This dress is so gorgeous and Miley's long honey-colored wavy tendrils looked fabulous with the color and cut of the dress. I really wish she had walked the carpet to show off her look from head-to-toe.
