WHO: Sophia Bush
WHERE & WHEN: The Beverly Hilton Unveils Redesigned Aqua Star Pool By Estee Stanley on May 22, 2013.
WEARING: Catherine Malandrino top and pants, Tibi shoes

MY VERDICT: Sophia looked adorably chic in a sassy two-piece lace look by Catherine Malandrino as she helped The Beverly Hilton celebrate the unveiling of the new Aqua Star pool re-designed by celebrity stylist and interior designer Estee Stanley.

The 30-year-old actress showed off her curves in a black and nude lace strapless peplum top and straight leg fitted trousers from Malandrino’s Fall 2013 collection. | continue reading..

Gina Carano in Amanda Wakeley | “Fast & Furious 6″ Los Angeles Premiere

Gina Carano in Amanda Wakeley | 'Fast & Furious 6' Los Angeles PremierePhotos: Zimbio; Rupert Sanderson; Palladium
WHO: Gina Carano
WHERE & WHEN: “Fast & Furious 6″ Los Angeles Premiere on May 21, 2013.
WEARING: Amanda Wakeley Atelier dress, Rupert Sanderson shoes, Christian Louboutin clutch, and jewelry from Dana Rebecca Designs & Palladium.

MY VERDICT: She may toughen up in a movie about crime and fast cars, but Gina was all elegance when she hit the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of “Fast & Furious 6″ wearing a beautiful Amanda Wakeley gown. The 31-year-old actress selected the white mist v-neck cap sleeve gown from Wakeley’s Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 Atelier collection with hand beaded gunmetal embellishments at the shoulders, bodice center, and small waist peplums. The ethereal high-low hem and train allowed us with a great shoe view too! Gina coordinated with the jagged gunmetal “Teoni” strappy sandals by Rupert Sanderson.

I would have liked to have seen hair down, but at least Gina’s classic twisted up-do prevented the intense detailing at the shoulders of her dress from being obscured. She further accessorized with Dana Rebecca Design white diamond square stud earrings and blackened silver and black diamond cast oval ring by Jason Dow for Palladium.

Gina completed her look with a fishnet silver clutch from Christian Louboutin.

Jamie Chung in Armani | “The Hangover Part III” Los Angeles Premiere

Jame Chung in Armani | 'The Hangover Part III' LA PremierePhotos: Zimbio
WHO: Jamie Chung
WHERE & WHEN: “The Hangover Part III” Los Angeles Premiere on May 20, 2013.
WEARING: Armani dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, and jewelry from Norman Silverman & Gaydamak.

MY VERDICT: After seeing Heather bring the glamour, Bradley bust out some bold color, and Naya spice it all up, I was a bit let down with what Jamie Chung wore to the Los Angeles premiere of “The Hangover Part III”.

The 30-year-old actress arrived on the red carpet wearing a shapeless black silk-satin Armani gown with a plunging v-neck attached by a single thin strap, and thick lace straps that crisscrossed in the back. The top portion looks like a lingerie camisole while the rest is simply boring. It just simply did nothing for her.

Aside from the dress, I liked Jamie’s makeup and her long chocolate tresses looked beautiful styled in side gathered big curls. Small diamond stud earrings by Norman Silverman and a Gaydamak white gold, diamond and emerald Snake hand bracelet completed her look. I think the jewelry was the best part.

Naya Rivera in Donna Karan | “The Hangover Part III” Los Angeles Premiere

WHO: Naya Rivera
WHERE & WHEN: “The Hangover Part III” Los Angeles Premiere on May 20, 2013.
WEARING: Donna Karan skirt, Jimmy Choo shoes

MY VERDICT: Naya flaunted her killer figure when she rocked the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of “The Hangover Part III” in a black bandeau top and a gorgeous Donna Karan origami folded pencil skirt with crystal beaded embroidery, from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection.

There were a million things right with this skirt, although I’m not really feeling the top. I’m all about ‘the crop’ being worked into just about everything this year, but I think of bandeau tops as something you either wear to the beach or under a casual tank top. | continue reading..

Bradley Cooper in Gucci | “The Hangover Part III” Los Angeles Premiere

Bradley Cooper in Gucci | 'The Hangover Part III' LA PremierePhotos: Zimbio
WHO: Bradley Cooper
WHERE & WHEN: “The Hangover Part III” Los Angeles Premiere on May 20, 2013.
WEARING: Gucci

MY VERDICT: Oh my pumpkin spice! Bradley officially had me yearning for the fall season when he hit the red carpet for “The Hangover Part III” premiere in this autumn-ready shade—and it’s not even officially summer yet! The always charming actor wore a unexpected custom pumpkin two-button notch lapel suit by Gucci that he interestingly partnered with a very pale blue button down shirt. I applaud both Brad and his stylist for taking a bold risk with this one.

It’s a tough color to pull off, but I can’t deny how refreshing it is.

There were a few issues with the pants, but wrinkling like that can occur when sitting for awhile. I think a pocket square incorporating the colors of both the suit and the shirt would have been nice, | continue reading..

Heather Graham in Herve L. Leroux | “The Hangover Part III” Los Angeles Premiere

Heather Graham in Herve L. Leroux | 'The Hangover Part III' LA PremierePhotos: Zimbio
WHO: Heather Graham
WHERE & WHEN: “The Hangover Part III” Los Angeles Premiere on May 20, 2013.
WEARING: Herve L. Leroux dress, Amrapali jewelry

MY VERDICT: Heather was quite the goddess in jade green when she arrived for “‘The Hangover Part III” in a form-fitting Herve L. Leroux silk dress with a daring pleated plunge neckline that layered beneath the bust. It wasn’t aging nor was it ‘too young’, and the color is stunning; it did well to compliment both Heather’s fair complexion and light blonde hair. With dresses that feature such dangerous dip in the neckline, it can border on way too much cleavage exposure, but I think Heather worked this just fine.

Speaking of her hair, Heather hair her golden tresses style in cascading loose curls that were gathered to one side.

She kept her makeup light with a matte pink pout, but her jewelry was very bold. Heather wore stacked chunky diamond bangles and a gorgeous emerald and diamond statement necklace from Amrapali; she additionally accessorized with a matching pewter box clutch and sandals.

Jessica Chastain in Versace Collection | “Cleopatra” Premiere – 2013 Cannes Film Festival

Jessica Chastain in Atelier Versace | 'Cleopatra' Premiere - 2013 Cannes Film FestivalPhotos: Zimbio; Christie's
WHO: Jessica Chastain
WHERE & WHEN: “Cleopatra” 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival Premiere on May 21, 2013.
WEARING: Versace Collection dress, BVLGARI jewelry

MY VERDICT: Jessica was the epitome of refined elegance when she made her way down the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Cleopatra” today to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the film, which starred the late Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, wearing a long sleeve ivory silk Versace Collection gown with a floor-length cape. Although the front of the dress was modest–and slightly ill-fitting, the exquisite attachment sat below a stunning deep v-cutout at the upper back.

The amount of accessories were minimal, but what Jessica wore packed a lot of power. | continue reading..

Dita Von Teese in Elie Saab Couture | “Cleopatra” Premiere – 2013 Cannes Film Festival

WHO: Dita Von Teese
WHERE & WHEN: “Cleopatra” 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival Premiere on May 21, 2013.
WEARING: Elie Saab Haute Couture dress, Swarovski clutch

MY VERDICT: Dita radiated in red when she arrived for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Cleopatra” wearing a beautiful tea-length Elie Saab gown. The three-quarter length sleeve belted lace cocktail dress comes from the designer’s Spring 2013 Haute Couture collection and includes beaded embroideries throughout heavier patches of delicate lace.

A beautiful dress can stand on its own, but if possible, Dita actually makes this even more appealing than it was on the runway. The scarlet shade pops off of her porcelain complexion, and Dita’s signature retro jet black curls exude elegance. Dita accessorized in red, of course, with a satin Swarovski crystal embellished “Power” clutch and matching pumps.

Rosy cheeks, a matte ruby lip, and a pop of green with emerald ornate earrings were the finishing touches.

Justin Bartha in ETRO | “The Hangover Part III” Los Angeles Premiere

Justin Bartha in ETRO | 'The Hangover Part III' LA PremierePhotos: Zimbio
WHO: Justin Bartha
WHERE & WHEN: “The Hangover Part III” Los Angeles Premiere on May 20, 2013.
WEARING: Etro

MY VERDICT: Justin hit the red carpet to promote the highly-anticipated third installment of “The Hangover” series in a bold ensemble that incorporate various shades of cool blue—aka: the perfect summer suit. The 34-year-old actor wore an ETRO gray and blue plaid woven suit, from the Spring 2013 Menswear collection, with a pale blue dress shirt that allowed for his navy silk polka dot tie to be the focal point. Justin added a vibrant element of contrast by opting for a silk paisley pocket square with tones of purple and mustard. I love the idea and execution of this albeit there were a few fitting issues with the pants.

Justin completed his look with a beautiful pair of blue suede two-tone brogues.

Milla Jovovich in Chanel Couture | “Blood Ties” – 2013 Cannes Film Festival

Milla Jovovich in Chanel Couture | 'Blood Ties' - 2013 Cannes Film FestivalPhotos: Chanel; Swarovski
WHO: Milla Jovovich
WHERE & WHEN: “Blood Ties” 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival Premiere on May 20, 2013.
WEARING: Chanel Haute Couture

MY VERDICT: Milla arrived for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Blood Ties” wearing a long Chanel black and white sequin embroidered gown with a floral pattern sans belt from the Spring/Summer 2013 Haute Couture collection. I was wondering how long it would take to see this gown on the red carpet, and I thought for sure it was going to be on Anna Wintour earlier this month for the MET Gala. It would have been a better option than what she wore at least.

That being said, I actually prefer it on Milla–she looked pretty. It wasn’t one of my favorite dresses at the festival so far, but it was certainly an interesting choice that set her apart from the other premiere attendees. She wore it well. | continue reading..
