MY VERDICT: Another day, another red carpet—and we’re still twenty four hours away from the Golden Globes!  Jennifer was among the star-studded guest list this afternoon at the BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea Party held at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles. The 22-year-old “Silver Linings Playbook” actress wore a v-neck printed blouse and a layered black silk pencil skirt from the Spring 2013 collection by Altuzarra, which featured a printed tassel belt to match the top.

I like the dress, but is it just this angle or does it add unnecessary width to her body?  Not to be picky, I just always find these looks to work better on women who have trouble achieving a curvy look. I think I would have rather seen her wear a version without the extra fabric at the waist; maybe with draping as opposed to the “peplum” effect. | continue reading..

I guess that despite how interesting Anne Hathaway’s haute couture gown was at the “Les Misérables” world premiere—it wasn’t all that comfortable to wear the whole night through. Shortly after the screening of the film at the Odeon, the 30-year-old actress arrived on the red carpet for the after party, held at The Roundhouse, and debuted her second look of the night!

Anne wore a beautiful Altuzarra navy-and-gold embroidered strapless top and a high-waist black textured pencil skirt—both from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection by designer Joseph Altuzarra. Diane Kruger joined her boyfriend Joshua Jackson on the red carpet at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver on Saturday as he celebrated the 100th episode and final season of his hit show “Fringe” alongside his costars.

The 36-year-old actress passed on a predictable party dress, or skinny pants, and opted for the Altuzarra “Roy” peplum dress—from Joseph Altuzarra’s Fall 2012 runway collection ($1,374, bergdorfgoodman.com).  The structured top part of the dress is designed with long sleeves, a gold button adorned placket and a draped, tailored pleated peplum that falls in a split at the hips.  | continue reading..

Casey LaBow stars as Katie from the Denali vampire coven in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, and joined her fellow on-screen vamps Mia Maestro and Maggie Grace last night at the “Twilight” bash thrown by Fandango during Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, California.

I couldn’t help but totally love Casey’s outfit when I first saw photos of her emerge on the red carpet at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Why? She’s totally rocking vintage leopard pajama pants, and I can honestly say I’ve worn leopard pj pants out as well.

Kerry Washington hit the red carpet tonight at the Shrine Auditorium for the 2012 BET Awards, where she presented with her “Django Unchained” costar Jamie Foxx.

The 35-year-old actress arrived in a beige strapless bustier top and belt from the Resort 2013 collection by Altuzarra; the belt featured a bold ornate gold buckle. Kerry paired the stretch top with a black crepe J. Mendel skirt with a flounce hem.

Naturally, I would have preferred that she opt for a full summer look by wearing a brighter skirt, but she accessorized it really well with gold and black elements. | continue reading..

Michelle Williams joined her costar Luke Kirby on Thursday night for the New York City screening of their new movie “Take This Waltz”, which was held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema.

She often plays it safe on the dress carpet and sticks to classic cuts and designs, but the 31-year-old actress must have feeling pretty adventurous last night when she opted for this sexy black dress from the Altuzarra Resort 2013 collection.

The slim pencil-cut silhouette hugged Michelle’s body like a glove, and I’m glad she didn’t wear the belt because it drew even more attention to the sassy lace-up effect at the bodice. | continue reading..

Rashida Jones attended the screening for her new movie “Celeste and Jesse Forever”, held during the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival, on Thursday wearing an embellished cocktail dress.

The 36-year-old actress arrived at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in a Fall 2012 dress by Altuzarra, which featured black v-neck bodice, a printed silver pencil cut skirt, and a whimsical coin embellished element at the waist.

Because of the heavy detail, I’m glad Rashida didn’t try to compete with busy shoes — but I also appreciate the fact that she didn’t play it too safe with a pair of pumps.

This look was complete with minimal makeup, Isharya jewelry and a wavy mane.

Kate Bosworth bared a little belly on the red carpet last night when she arrived for the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards in a printed dress from the Fall 2012 collection by Altuzarra.

The 29-year-old “Black Rock” actress was the guest of designer Joesph Altuzarra, and I have to say, she might have been one of the best dressed gals of the night in this vibrant creation.

A pointed collar gave the busy red, orange and yellow printed dress a relaxed feel, whereas the cutout element at the waist and beaded sash added some edge before finishing out with a feminine flared skirt. | continue reading..

Before hitting the blue carpet later in the evening for the “Battleship” premiere, Brooklyn Decker joined director Peter Berg (not pictured) at the “Got Your 6″ press conference.

Rising singer Lana Del Rey made her Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala debut on Monday night as the guest of the designer Joseph Altuzarra.

Altuzarra dressed Lana in a silver metallic sweetheart gown before layering on theatrics with a floor-length sheer black cape.

I felt like she was going for a ‘Gwyneth Paltrow at the 2012 Oscars – meets – Florence Welch’ look.

Lana’s hair looked really nice styled in side-parted soft, voluminous cascading waves, but I really hate her lipstick. Many ladies opted for a dark hued pout that night, but it looks more gothic on Lana than it does glam.

She completed her look with smokey eyes and diamond jewelry.
