WHERE & WHEN: 67th EE British Academy Film Awards on February 16, 2014.
WEARING: Miu Miu dress and shoes, Chopard jewelry
MY VERDICT: Léa was back in Prada last night when she hit the black carpet for the annual National Board of Review Awards in New York City. The 28-year-old “Blue Is The Warmest Color” star selected a colorful ensemble rich in jewel tones that included a Spring/Summer 2014 orange silk radzmire skirt enriched with bottle green crystals that complimented the shade of her emerald green radzmire cap sleeve top.
I really loved the mixture of tones and touch of dazzle with the embellishments at her skirt, but one of my favorite details about this look was the unexpected pop of contrast with Léa’s lilac suede pumps. A center-parted slicked back ‘do, a touch of grey smoky shadow, and deep raspberry red matte lips helped provide the finishing touches.
MY VERDICT: Léa joined two of her fellow nominees Will Poulter and George MacKay this morning to announce the nominations for the EE Rising Star Award for the upcoming 2014 BAFTAs in London. The “Blue Is The Warmest Color” actress looked ready to bypass winter and head straight for spring in her Miu Miu white floral printed cady silk long sleeve dress. I love the wide space pattern of the flowers in a wind-blown state. | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: Léa looked beautiful when she joined her “Grand Central” costars on the red carpet tonight for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Zulu”, which also doubled as the closing awards ceremony.
The 27-year-old French actress wore a short sleeve Maxime Simoëns Resort 2014 black and white panel gown with metallic detail at the built in belt. The sleek silhouette was so dreamy and sophisticated, and I adore the added a pop of color with a black and red embroidered Christian Louboutin “Sofia” minaudière. | continue reading..
