MY VERDICT: The French actress donned a sheer white embroidered asymmetric gown over a white bodysuit with silver embellished detail at the neckline strap and waist for the opening ceremony premiere tonight. As an ambassador for Louis Vuitton, I was anticipating seeing Léa in a custom design by Nicolas Ghesquière, but I wasn’t expecting this. Not only do I love it – I really love it. I’ve been on the fence with a lot of looks from LV lately, but I can’t deny how beautiful this dress is. I know there are many people who are over the trend of sheer dresses but, at this point, I think of them as common as a strapless or halter cut. They’ve become a red carpet staple – in fact, they’ve been one for decades so I’m not sure why many find them to be a new thing, and I don’t expect to see it die down.
Léa completed her look with loose elegant waves that were tucked on one side to show off her diamond Boucheron ‘Lierre de Paris’ Collection earrings. She additionally wore a matching ring and silver sandals.
