Two separate
Vogue debuts in two months? Apparently, when you’re Emma Stone that happens! The 23-year-old
made her debut for the American edition last month and now covers the August 2012 issue of
British Vogue lens by
Patrick Demarchelier — and it might just be my favorite cover of hers to date!
Playfully conveying an innocent look of nibbling on her fingernail while side-gazing; this zoomed in semi-profile shot of “The Amazing Spider-Man” actress shows her clad in a toasty warm houndstooth printed jumper and black driving cap from the MaxMara Fall 2012 collection.
Makeup artist Hannah Murray created a soft palette for Emma while cat-lining her eyes into a 1960s kitten look. Her hat covers it up here, but hairstylist Orlando Pita took inspiration from the shoot and her make-up by giving Emma an updated retro bouffant where he left the ends pretty sleek rather than flipped.
Now, let’s check out the wardrobe!
Check out Emma’s
MaxMara look — straight from the Fall 2012 runway! At first, I was totally confused as to why fashion editor
Clare Richardson styled her in this wintry look for the late summer issue — not that I don’t love it — but, then I figured it might have something to do with the bold “AUTUMN FASHION starts here…” statement.
Emma looks beautiful in a bright blue silk-satin embroidered dress from the Fall 2012 collection by
Erdem, which features splashes of violet, magenta, navy, red and white. She accessorizes with platinum-and-diamond stud earrings and a gold-and-diamond ring, both from
Tiffany & Co. Her hammered gold ring is
Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co.
I would have loved to have seen Emma wear this printed
Derek Lam dress for “The Amazing Spider-Man” press tour, but I can settle — and appreciate — it on her here in the pages of British Vogue! Emma dons the tight tri-tone frock while showing off her kitten heel
Christian Louboutin bow-adorned “Love Me” pumps.
Emma continues to be playful and shy in this black and white photo where she sits in a ice blue patterned
Pringle of Scotland cardigan, from the Fall 2012 collection. This fuzzy sweater was paired with a black leather mini skirt by
Jitrois.
She wore a lighter color version of the same Christian Louboutin “Love Me” pumps as before. Emma actually wore a glittered version of these heels for the Japanese premiere of ‘Spider-Man’ last month! Remember?
Looking every bit of a striking 1960’s Hollywood siren, Emma lays down in a pair of fishnet black tights beneath a her mirrored
Miu Miu dress! This black sleeveless embroidered cutout mini comes from the Fall 2012 collection, –where it was originally paired with a long satin blouse.
