MY VERDICT: How pretty did Ava look last night at the Kering Women in Film Awards ceremony and dinner during the Cannes Film Festival? The award-winning film direct, and Cannes jury member, selected an Elie Saab Fall 2017 long crepe georgette dress, which was originally presented on the runway in blush pink but was revised in deep teal. This long sleeve design, a go-to option for Ava, featured tulle insert detail and macramé applied to the cuffs, front and collar. This dress is so dreamy, and I love that Ava’s makeup artist was so inspired by the dress that he made her eyes up in smoky shades of blue to match. Partially pinned locs, a black clutch and diamond earrings completed her evening ensemble.
