WHO: Kristen Stewart
WHERE & WHEN: “BlacKkKlansman” Cannes Film Festival Premiere on May 14, 2018.
WEARING: Chanel Haute Couture dress; Christian Louboutin shoes
MY VERDICT: Kristen continued to dip into the Chanel archives for jury duty at tonight’s premiere of “BlacKkKlansman”. The 28-year-old actress selected a silver long sleeve dress from the Fall/Winter 2013 Haute Couture collection encrusted with shards of crystals throughout the neckline and skirt. The dress was originally full length, but that was either a skirt worn underneath for the runway, or Kristen and her stylist got scissor happy. That being said, I like it shorter. I wish she had saved this for a premiere back in LA or NYC, but I still dig it. Instead of fighting the rainy weather, Kristen went with the flow and rocked a slicked back ‘wet look’ hairstyle.
My least favorite part of the ensemble? The black pumps. I would have preferred gunmetal Giuseppe Zanotti “Harmony” sandals, but I get that she probably wanted something she could slip off to walk the wet steps…because, that’s exactly what she did.
