WHERE & WHEN: Kering Women in Motion Awards Dinner during Cannes 2018 on May 13, 2018.

MY VERDICT: Kristen attended the Kering Women in Motion dinner and awards ceremony last night during the Cannes Film Festival where she donned a Chanel evening dress from the Fall/Winter 2016 Haute Couture collection. This dress was originally presented hidden beneath a matching jacket, so it was nice to get an undistracted view but, sadly, I think she could have used another fitting because it looks like the dress is having trouble staying up. With a proper fit, this would have been an even better look for her…well, that and a different pair of shoes. Kristen’s white Christian Louboutin “Jumping” pumps were too stark against the tone of the dress, but a silver sandal would have picked up the shimmering embellishments on the dress.
As for the rest of the look, I really liked her makeup — which included pearl lined eyes courtesy of Beau Nelson — a ballerina top knot and Chanel Fine Jewelry diamonds; the “Coco Crush” ring, to be exact.
