MY VERDICT: Thandie’s look went beyond fashion when she attended the red carpet screening of “Solo: A Star Wars Story” during Cannes today. The English actress honored all of the black male actors who have starred in the “Star Wars” franchise over the decades by having a custom Vivienne Westwood Couture gown created with their character action figures printed throughout the design against a blue floral pattern back-drop. Not only was this dress beautiful on Thandie, but the tribute was even better.
Gold platform sandals and jewelry to match, a pretty curly up-do and vivid green eye shadow to pick up tones from the gown completed her look.
