Cover Girl: Emma Stone’s Intergalactic Style for Interview’s September Fashion Issue!
Holy moly!
EMMA STONE is quite literally 'out-of-this-world' for the September cover of Interview Magazine, which is dubbed "The Fashion Issue". Mikael Jansson photographed the "Gangster Squad" actress in a series of nightclub and alleyway locations that look like they are set in the 1980s -- in outer space! Seriously, this editorial is trippy and fabulous!
Karl Templer styled Emma in various fierce threads from the Fall/Winter 2012 runways by Christopher Kane, Lanvin, Versace, Balenciaga, Haider Ackermann and YSL, while hairstylist Paul Hanlon gave her an extraterrestrial-inspired sleek hairstyle to compliment her intense smoky eyes -- courtesy of makeup artist Mark Carrasquillo.
Director and producer Cameron Crowe interviewed Emma for the issue, where she opened up about all of her acting gigs, her first heartbreak, her public image, her likes and dislikes -- and much, much more.
Her thoughts on expressing herself in interviews: "In general I get nervous when I do print interviews because I know that whatever I say is going to be shown through the lens of whomever I'm talking to. So I've read a lot of different versions of myself—and all of them are true because it's all opinion and they're as accurate as it can ever be. But I don't think that I've been deft at hiding parts of my personality. I have not mentioned parts of my life, for sure—although I have talked about my childhood more now and anxiety and that side of myself. I don't think that people would expect that I would have panic attacks . . . Or I don't know if they would, because I don't know what people expect of me. I have no idea."
On filming her new movie, "Gangster Squad": Working with Sean [Penn] was pretty cool. There was a moment when Sean did an impression of the guy he was in jail next to, and then I realized I was working with Sean Penn, because he became the guy he was in jail next to. You hear people do a voice, but his entire body . . . He turned into this terrifying guy with this tiny voice who was talking about his cat. I was like, "Holy sh-t. This guy is touched by something."
The fashion is incredibly fierce, which goes perfectly with Emma's otherworldly look.

After spending the summer in our movie theaters starring opposite Steve Carrell in "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World", KEIRA KNIGHTLEY returns to cinemas this fall in the title role of "Anna Karenina"; the Joe Wright-directed film based off the famed novel by Russian writer Leo Tolstoy.
As if that role wasn't enough, the newly-engaged English actress also scored the lead for Harper Bazaar UK 's September issue! Ellen Von Unwerth photographed the English beauty in a mysterious dark garden wearing a whimsical array of looks straight from the Fall/Winter 2012 runways.
For the cover, Keira gives us "the side-eye" while donned in a tweed-and-feather embellished Chanel cape and sporting a berry-stained open pout and partially gathered cascading tendrils as she clutches an oversize dark red rose. But, inside the issue Cathy Kasterine took the dark beauty further by styling Keira in some incredible pieces with a 'feminine edge' from Yves Saint Laurent, Balmain, Lanvin and more!
Cover Girl: Selena Gomez Frolicks On the Beach for ELLE’s July Issue
For the first time ever, SELENA GOMEZ covers the July issue of ELLE Magazine -- lens by Carter Smith.
The 19-year-old actress-turned-popstar has been the subject of many tabloid chatter, mostly centering around her highly publicized relationship with Justin Bieber, but also due to her burgeoning pop music career, a debut signature fragrance and two upcoming movies -- the animated "Hotel Transylvania" and next year's "Spring Breakers", where Selena more than sheds her Disney girl image.
Not only did she make her ELLE debut, but she did it twice over with a special double issue. For the bright yellow glossy cover, with her name written boldy across her body, Joe Zee styled Selena in a printed tunic from the Fall 2012 collection by Balmain as her long beachy waves, courtesy of hairstylist Harry Josh, cascaded over her shoulders.
The second cover finds Selena in a gorgeous gold embroidered corset dress by Dolce & Gabbana.
Dark Beauty: Charlize Theron & Kristen Stewart for Interview Magazine!
There's no doubt about it, CHARLIZE THERON and KRISTEN STEWART are an unstoppable force. They may be from the opposite sides of good and bad on the big screen, as they face off as the evil queen Ravenna and the fair Snow White in Universal's "Snow White and the Huntsman", but the two are friends in real-life -- and a pair of stunning gal pals, if you ask me.
Both ladies took over the fashion magazines this past month as they geared up for the June 1st release of their film, but the June/July 2012 issue of Interview Magazine gave us something we really wanted -- a devastatingly glam cover shoot with both striking femmes!
In this dark and beautiful editorial lens by Mikael Jansson, Charlize and Kristen pose in the gothic-chic United Artists Theater in downtown Los Angeles wearing some of the most glamorous looks from the latest Fall 2012 collections as they brood behind sleek tresses and dark lips.
Karl Templer pulled some of the most striking pieces from designers like Tom Ford, Versace, Lanvin, Christian Dior and Dries Van Noten for the ladies, and The Fashion Court appreciates his fine eye that helped create a prominent fashion palette.
Because this is 'Interview' magazine, Elvis Mitchell sat down with the SWATH stars to talk about their kick-ass movie, their very broad film careers, Charlize's newest role as a mother, and tons more. It's a juicy read!
