Many moonmen will be given out this weekend when the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards returns to California with a star-studded show filled with the top performers in music. While the VMAs may be all about the hottest styles in music, the red carpet will be about the winning fashion moments. For my wish list this year, I selected a group of ladies set to attend who are either nominated, presenting or performing. This is one of my favorite wish lists to do because the style possibilities are endless! I invite you to follow me on the big night (Saturday, August 24th) on Twitter [ @TheFashionCourt ] as I ID the celebrity style all night long from red carpet start to VMA finish! Remember to check back here at TheFashionCourt.com for recaps, fashion details, and verdicts. You can also find VMA style on Pinterest.com/TheFashionCourt and Facebook.com/TheFashionCourt!
Note: None of these dresses are confirmed as looks the stars will be wearing at the ceremony,
they're simply my personal "wishes" of what I'd like to see on the red carpet.
Welcome to PART 2 of my Cannes 2014 Wish List! As I mentioned in PART 1, there were way too many celebs I included this year, and I figured breaking it up would make it easier read without a heavy image load and endless scrolling. The first half covered some of the premieres for the first week of the 67th Cannes Film Festival while this will focus on three movies debuting in the last week, including: "Maps to the Stars", "Lost River", and "Clouds of Sils Maria". You can follow along with me on Twitter [ @TheFashionCourt ] as I ID the celebrity style at Cannes for the next two weeks, and check back here at TheFashionCourt.com for all the photocall and premiere fashion recaps.
The year must've flown by because it was as if I blinked and the biggest fashion festival (and film, obviously) was back again! The 67th Cannes Film Festival officially begins today, and I can't wait to see what glamorous gowns (and swanky tuxedos) make their way down the red carpet on the French Riviera--beginning with the opening ceremony premiere of "Grace of Monaco". As always, there are tons of stylish celebrities who will be attending Cannes this year, which means my wish list is so big that I had to break it into two parts---and I couldn't even include everyone! You can find the first ten celebrities included below, and
PART 2 is on the way later today. See Part II here.

Brazil Summer 2014 Collection, which allowed for them to stand out a bit better. In the wise words of Ke$ha: '...go insane. Throw some glitter, make it rain!'.
the "Awaken" collection, a stunning batch of glorious soft hues to celebrate the blooming season. Six new, full-coverage creams and metallic shimmer nail polish colors fill this Spring 2014 line that I'm certain you're bound to fall in love with. The awesome team over at Zoya headquarters sent the collection my way to try out and share with all of you--so let's 'hop' to it! Get it? Spring humor. I crack myself up.
Zoya's Pixie Dust and OPI Liquid Sand polishes, if you're familiar with those. All three of them were very easy to apply and I pretty much got full coverage in just two coats.
As hectic as it may have been, it feels like award season simply flew by this year! We're only a few days away from Oscar night, which means the countdown is almost over until we see some amazing dresses and major wins! For my annual wish list, I decided to do something a little different. I typically don't "predict" dresses, I simply include my red carpet wish but I thought I'd give a taste of both this time around. For most of the ladies (nominees and confirmed presenters), I gave an idea of what they *could* wear, along with my pick of what they *should* wear. Living up to that tagline! ^^
Couture de Minnie Collection, but my excitement definitely flew off the richter when the House of Mouse launched their very own Beautifully Disney beauty line shortly after with a focus on the 'wicked' fairytale villains. For their second installment of the cosmetic line, Disney introduces "Fantasy in Flight"--which is centered around Peter Pan's famous side kick Tinker Bell and the Blue Fairy from "Pinocchio". In the collection you'll find a 6 shade eyeshadow palette, a set of four mini nail polishes, two lip glosses, and a brush set. It should go without saying that I bounced around like Tigger when I got a special delivery of the collection to review for all of you, along with some signature pieces from the Beautifully Disney line (mascara and two blushes).
