The stars of film, music, and the catwalk came out this afternoon at the Grand Palais in Paris, France to celebrate Karl Lagerfeld‘s new CHANEL Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 fashion show, held during Paris Haute-Couture Fall 2013 Fashion Week.
Rihanna sent on-lookers into a state of jaw-drop when she arrived in a barely-there Cruise 2013/14 long beige viscose cardigan. The singer added a glamorous touch to the racy ensemble with layers of pearls and a pair of cap toe pumps.
For the second show of the day, the front row was crowded with many more famous faces–including CHANEL ambassador Vanessa Paradis, “Boardwalk Empire” star Michael Pitt, actress Rose Byrne, and Kristen Stewart who was joined by director Olivier Assayas. The two are working on a new movie entitled “Sils Maria”, which is slated to start production soon.
Speaking of Miss Stewart, she exuded beautiful rebellion when she arrived in a white double-breasted jacket and black cotton shorts that she amplified up with chain jewels and fierce shoes. This touch of punk didn’t end with her arrival, but it was memorable nonetheless. Another one of my favorite looks came from Rose, who sat pretty in a lovely floral long dress from the Spring 2013 – Act 1 collection while Michael opted for a little drama with head-to-toe black and sapphire tinted aviators.
Other attendees included Milla Jovovich, Alexa Chung, Clémence Poesy, Baz Luhrmann, and Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey.
