Review: ZOYA 'Awaken' Spring 2014 Collection

Review: ZOYA ‘Awaken’ Spring 2014 Collection

Product Review

Despite the short snow-covered days, I never realize how much I truly miss spring until I start seeing all of the pretty pastel nail polish collections begin to debut. This year ZOYA has created the "Awaken" collection, a stunning batch of glorious soft hues to celebrate the blooming season. Six new, full-coverage creams and metallic shimmer nail polish colors fill this Spring 2014 line that I'm certain you're bound to fall in love with. The awesome team over at Zoya headquarters sent the collection my way to try out and share with all of you--so let's 'hop' to it! Get it? Spring humor. I crack myself up.

Review: OPI 'Muppets Most Wanted' Collection

Review: OPI ‘Muppets Most Wanted’ Collection

Product Review

I'm excited to share the latest Limited Edition polishes from OPI with you, which are inspired by Disney's Muppets Most Wanted! I guess you could say I'm a bit of a aficionado when it comes to The Muppets; I grew up on the movies, the cartoons, the toys, and I may have even idolized Miss Piggy a little bit at one point or another :cough:istilldo:cough:. What can I say? She's the most fabulous. I made it my mission to stock up on the entire Muppet holiday collection that OPI first did back in 2011, so it should go without saying that I'm thrilled they teamed back up to celebrate the latest Disney film starring Kemit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Animal, Fozzie Bear, and the rest of the fuzzy gang. The collection is mostly focused on pink and nude tones--but there is a gorgeous deep purple, a fun duochrome, and a couple of pretty glitters in the mix. I'll stop babbling so you can check them out. Enjoy!

Review: China Glaze Sea Goddess Spring 2014 Collection

Review: China Glaze ‘Sea Goddess’ Spring 2014 Collection

Product Review

The first day of spring is literally a week away, so I'm quite excited that I was able to check out three polishes from the China Glaze Spring 2014 "Sea Goddess" Collection. They were kind enough to share them with me so that I can share with all of you today! I'll be honest, while the rich pastel hued colors originally grabbed my attention, the fact that they were textured polishes made me a bit apprehensive as it's been a definite 'hit' or 'miss' with other China Glaze textured polishes. However, these were much finer--kind of a mix between Zoya's Pixie Dust and OPI Liquid Sand polishes, if you're familiar with those. All three of them were very easy to apply and I pretty much got full coverage in just two coats.
