Cate Blanchett in Alexander McQueen | Cannes Film Festival 2018: 'The Man Who Killed Don Quixote' Closing Ceremony Premiere
WHO
: Cate Blanchett
WHERE & WHEN: “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” Cannes Closing Ceremony Premiere on May 19, 2018.
WEARING: Alexander McQueen dress, Chopard jewelry.

MY VERDICT: Cate’s style at the Cannes Film Festival this year has been a real gift, so we shouldn’t be surprised that she dressed the part for the closing ceremony premiere of “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote”. The Australian actress completed her presidential jury duties wearing a customized Alexander McQueen black tuxedo gown with a bustier facade that connected to an oversized red bow, which bloomed at the back and traveled to the bottom of the dress. This creative design was inspired by a look featured in McQueen’s Fall/Winter 2018 runway collection.

I thought this was so much fun to close out Cannes this year; I’ve enjoyed every moment of Cate’s fashion choices and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for the “Ocean’s 8” press tour that kicks off very soon.  A pair of ruby Chopard tassel earrings provided the finishing touch.
