MY VERDICT: Be still my beating heart, Cate hit the red carpet for the “Cold War” premiere tonight wearing a PAINT BY NUMBERS gown, and I never knew this was something I needed to see so badly until now. The custom-made Mary Katrantzou black and white pattern hi-low sleeveless gown with a paint by numbers motif was inspired by Katrantzou’s Fall 2018 collection, and featured large scattered colorful embellished flowers throughout that gave it that half painted feel. I’m in fashion heaven and I didn’t even get to wear it.
Cate flawlessly completed her look with a pair of gold Aquazzura “Eclipse” pumps (she wore a pink pair earlier in the week) and a set of Chopard colorful titanium butterfly rings.
