MY VERDICT: Nieves was among the many stars in attendance for the “Sorry Angel” screening during Cannes today where she donned an embellished Elie Saab Fall/Winter 2017 Couture gown. This exquisite single sleeve work of art features a multicolor motif of appliqués that tumble down a sheer backdrop, and I simply can’t tell you how excited I was to finally see it make its red carpet debut. Nieves really shined, and I’m glad that she kind of wore her hair in that same sculpted waves that the model had on the runway because I think I would’ve been so bummed if anything disrupted my vision of this dress.
Pretty makeup, dazzling diamonds, and a pair of René Caovilla snake sandals completed the look.
