WHO: Kristen Stewart
WHERE & WHEN: “Girls of the Sun” Cannes Film Festival Premiere on May 12, 2018.
WEARING: Chanel jacket and pants, Brian Atwood shoes, Roberi and Fraud sunglasses & Chanel Fine Jewelry.
MY VERDICT: Kristen opted for a pant suit as she joined her fellow female members of the Cannes jury to protest the lack of female filmmakers honored during the 71 year-long history of the prestigious festival. The 28-year-old hit the red carpet for the #5050by2020 march, held ahead of the screening, wearing a Chanel Resort 2019 black and white cashmere jacket and matching pants. Unlike the runway styling, Kristen left the jacket slightly undone for a midriff baring look and slipped on Brian Atwood “Vida” booties.
She further accessorized with gold Chanel Fine Jewelry–including a “Camélia” multi-chain necklace, a two beige gold “Coco Crush” rings and a “Sous le Signe du Lion” ring. This appearance wasn’t about making a fashion moment but a call for change, yet she looked dope all the same. My favorite aspect was, surprise-surprise, her pompadour pinned up-do, vivid red lips and gold Roberi and Fraud “Doris” sunglasses.
