WHO: Kate Moran and Vanessa Paradis
WHERE & WHEN: “Knife + Heart” Cannes Film Festival Premiere on May 17, 2018.

MY VERDICT: The “Knife + Heart (Un Couteau dans le Coeur)” costars both wore full looks from the Chanel fashion house when they joined each other at the midnight screening of their new movie. Kate went for a moodier look in a black and blue embroidered dress from the Fall/Winter 2017 collection that featured a high-neck cut with a v-neck cutout while Vanessa opted for an archive gold iridescent embroidered gown from the Resort 2010 collection.
I liked the dress on Kate, but her earrings were a bit distracting, and as for Vanessa: I didn’t realize how much I loved this dress until she wore it. I actually prefer it to the selections from the Spring 2018 Haute Couture line that I included on my Cannes Wish List.
